The Shah Rukh Khan–Alia Bhatt starrer “Dear Zindagi“ crossed a remarkable Rs. 50 crore at the Indian box office and also managed to join the 100 Crore Club worldwide. These are nine day collections numbers. “Dear Zindagi,” was directed by Gauri Shinde and produced by Karan Johar, Gauri Khan and Shinde herself under their respective banners.

This movie despite the Demonetization initiative, occurring in our country, managed to earn a gross of Rs. 52 crores. This weekend has earned an exceptional gross of 2.25 crore rupees on Friday, and Rs. 3.50 crore on Saturday. The movie was released in 1200 screens worldwide.
“Dear Zindagi” managed to surpass the collections of “Rock on 2” and “Force 2” which was badly affected by Demonetization.
